The call for proposals for the Support to European Networks Strand was published on 7 October 2016 with a deadline on 25 October 11:00 am Irish time.
This strand of funding offers support to European networks active in the field of the cultural and creative sectors.
Support for European networks is intended to have a structuring effect on players in the cultural and creative sectors. Therefore only a limited number of networks with a broad geographic spread across a balanced range of sectors will be supported under this call.
Under this call a network is defined as “a multi-country membership organisation whose mission, governance rules, members’ rights and obligations are specified in a document (statutes) agreed upon by its members”.
In order to be eligible a network must:
- active in the field of the cultural and creative sector
- be legally established in one of the countries participating in the Culture Sub-Programme
- incorporated as a legal entity for at least 2 years on the date of application
- consist of at least 15 members organisation which are established in at least 10 different countries taking part in the programme, of which 5 must have their legal seat in 5 different EU Member States or in an EFTA country
