Eurimages

Eurimages is the cultural support fund of the Council of Europe. Established in 1989, it currently numbers 39 of the 47 member states of the Strasbourg-based Organisation plus Canada as Associate member.

Eurimages promotes the European audiovisual industry by providing financial support to feature films, animations and documentaries produced in Europe. In doing so, it encourages co-operation between professionals established in different European countries.

Eurimages has three support schemes:

• Feature film co-production
• Promotion of co-production
• Exhibition.
• Eurimages has also adopted a strategy to promote gender equality in the film industry.
• Sponsorships granted and awards made under the Promotion programme and Gender Equality strategy are decided upon following calls for proposals.
