usheru’s Movie Voyage Platform to go Global with new Creative EU Funding

The latest round of Creative Europe funding will help usheru go global to promote European films in cinemas and on streaming platforms by adding cinema showtimes and streaming data for new territories aroundthe world. In addition to the central platform, this data will give partner promotional bodies the opportunity to have a greater insight than ever before into the reach and proliferation of their films throughtheir own branded Home For Film websites.

‘usheru’ is a technology company focused on data intelligence that supports the film industry in maximising the benefit and return on investment of marketing. usheru creates websites for partners across the industry from national bodies, distribution companies and movie studios to independent producers and filmmakers, allowing them to promote their catalogue to audiences and gather valuable data on the interactions with and success of their marketing campaigns.

The usheru Home For Film platform is helping partners including Screen Ireland, German Films and the Austrian Film Commission to promote their films internationally, and it is attracting interest form many others. The platform showcases a brand’s catalogue of films, and allows consumers to discover where they are available to watch - in cinemas, on VOD platforms or in film festivals.

Users can sign up to be notified when a film becomes available in their territory, giving partners the opportunity to build a database of enthusiastic fans who want to be contacted again about future releases. Partners also get new insight into where their films are playing around the world, and how many screenings the films are getting, which is extremely valuable in preparing for future releases.
