On Sunday 5th May across Europe, children's juries will watch the same three European films at the same time as part of the European Film Academy’s Young Audience Award (YAA). The YAA unites 12-14-year-olds in 55 cities in 34 countries from Ireland to Spain and from Portugal to Croatia. The juries will discuss the films with film educators, be in touch with their fellow jury members in other countries, and vote for their favourite film.

JOIN THE DUBLIN YAA JURY!
On May 5th the Irish Film Institute, with the support of Creative Europe Desk Ireland MEDIA and the BAI, will once again host the YAA awards in Dublin. If you have children or students who are aged between 12 - 14 who love watching and discussing film, there is a meet-up in the IFI on Saturday 27th April to choose a panel of jurors. The main event and screenings will take place on Sunday 5th of May in the IFI Dublin.
