EUROPEAN CINEMA NIGHT SCREENINGS IN IRELAND 5TH DECEMBER

Creative Europe MEDIA's second edition of the European Cinema Night will take place from 2 - 6 December in 54 cities across Europe! With free screenings of more than 40 European films supported by MEDIA, European Cinema Night will reach more than 14,500 people. The local venues are all renowned cinemas belonging to the Europa Cinemas network which is co-hosting ECN with Creative Europe MEDIA. In DUBLIN Irish Film Institute (IFI) will screen Cold War - tickets are free and all you have to do is ask for tickets at the IFI Box Office (all tickets now gone). 

CORK Triskel / Christchurch will screen Amanda. Tara Brady, film critic with The Irish Times, will be in attendance to speak about Amanda. There will be a drinks reception after the screening. This special preview screening of Amanda is free but ticketed – tickets will be available HERE from 10am on the day of the event. 

access<CINEMA: Via its national network of non-profit and voluntary organisations, access>CINEMA screens the best of European films across Ireland in 80 venues and film clubs such as Solstice Arts Centre, NavanSource Arts Centre, Thurles; the Galway Film Society, Townhall Theatre; Carlow Visual CentreCork Cine Club; and The Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire. They have received MEDIA funding through the Distribution Selective scheme
