Arts Council Co-funding for EU Cooperation Projects & Partner Meetings
The Arts Council Co-Funding Award offers two strands of support. Strand 1 is for organisations that have secured Creative Europe Cooperation Projects funding in 2024. Strand 2 is for organisations who need funding for partner meetings in preparation for Creative Europe Cooperation Project applications in 2025.
The Arts Council Co-funding Award 2025 is subdivided into two strands which support organisations who have secured funding from Creative Europe's European Cooperation Projects call or organisations who wish to meet European partners in preparation for their Cooperation Projects application for the 2025 deadline. This call has not yet opened but the expected deadline is around May 2025.
About Arts Council Co-funding Award
Strand 1: Co-funding Award for EU Cooperation Projects funded in 2024
The primary purpose of Strand 1 of this award is to enable Irish organisations that have secured funding, either as Lead Co-ordinator or Partner, for artistic activities under the Cooperation Projects strands of the Creative Europe Programme 2021–27 to apply for co-funding. Funding will be considered to support Irish arts activities that align with the objectives and priorities of this award.Applications from non-arts organisations will be eligible only where an Irish arts organisation has been identified as a participant in the project and where Arts Council support will be used for the benefit of the arts organisation’s Irish art activities. Applications for a Co-funding Award for Cooperation Projects must be made in the same calendar year in which an offer of funding is received from the EACEA.
Strand 2: Support for Partner Meetings for EU Cooperation Project Applications
The primary purpose of this strand is to enable Irish organisations to apply for support towards meetings with potential European partners in preparation for applications to the Cooperation Projects strand of the Creative Europe Programme 2021-2027.Art organisations wishing to apply are encouraged to attend the clinic to develop a better understanding of what the Co-funding Award aims to achieve, its core criteria, and the decision process.
The deadline to apply for the Arts Council Co-funding Award is 5th December, 2024.
