This new publication gives an overview of how Creative Europe Culture cooperation projects selected from 2014 to 2020 have addressed one or more of the three political priorities of the European Commission.

The projects featured in this report show how the cultural sector aligns with the political priorities of the Commission, striving towards gender equality, contribution to environmental sustainability and digitalisation. The report further demonstrates how arts and cultural activities can offer space for the development of an empowered citizenship and equip the sector with the tools to devise innovative and critical approaches to tackle such issues.

Over 75 examples of European Cooperation projects financed under the Creative Europe Programme 2014-2020 are included in this publication amounting to 23 cooperation projects tackling environmental sustainability; 17 tackling gender equality; and 33 tackling digitalisation.
