Sixteen films supported by MEDIA will be screened at Festival de Cannes with five in the running for the Palme d’Or. Visit the MEDIA stand at Marché du Film for showcases of TV series, innovative projects, and to find out more about funding opportunities.

The Creative Europe MEDIA programme sets up stands at the major international trade fairs for film and audiovisual content in Europe, as an essential part of its support to the promotion of European works. The stand facilitates the access of European professionals to these markets. For the MEDIA stand at Marché du Film at Festival de Cannes, 272 professionals from 183 companies representing 28 countries have been selected.

All those with a market accreditation are welcome to visit the MEDIA Stand at the Village International Riviera, Pavilion 123 to find information about the MEDIA programme and its funding opportunities. The MEDIA stand is open from 14th to the 22nd May, 9:00am to 7:00pm.

MEDIA Stand Events

The following events are open without prior registration, on a first come first served basis.

  • Showcase Breakfast: 'Writing European' on Sunday 19th May, 9.30am -10.15am. Discover innovative projects in the TV series genre with Full Moon Creative Lab and War Room Content. Speakers Claudia Droc and Emilie Blezat will share insights into European storytelling.
  • Films on the Move Funding Presentation on Monday 20th May, 9.30am-10.30am.
  • Innovative Tools & Business Models Showcase on Monday 20th May, 4pm to 5.30pm. Discover cutting-edge technologies transforming the audiovisual sector - Blockframes and Archipel, Yamdu, Privio, and Filmmakers System.
