'EZ Films were delighted to be awarded the MEDIA Slate Funding in 2023 and it has proved to be a fantastic way to develop our slate to an advanced stage but also a fantastic way to develop our company. Beyond supporting creative development milestones, the funding has also allowed us to present and pitch at markets internationally, gaining insights for the individual projects but also for our business. The award and the approval from MEDIA has proven to be a real badge of honour. It has also allowed us to make more international connections so as to co-develop and co-produce with production companies in other countries.' Ciarán Deeney, producer, EZ Films.
'The team at Homebird Productions are still pinching ourselves that we have received the support from Creative Europe for our current slate of TV and film projects. It feels like a wonderful stamp of approval from the European community and we hope to use this award to develop and grow our projects in a meaningful way.' Jeanie Igoe, producer, Homebird Productions
'We are delighted to have received Creative Europe Slate Funding for our high-end TV drama and film slate. This funding enables us to push creative boundaries and develop distinctive, authentic, and bold stories and provides crucial support to our commitment to quality European filmmaking with an international reach.' 'Receiving Creative Europe’s Slate Development support is an incredible endorsement for Wildcat Pictures. As creative producers these resources will allow us to shape our slate of feature films and TV series independently before bringing them to the international market which is invaluable, and would not be possible without Creative Europe’s support.' Jessie Fisk & Jane Doolan, Producers, Wildcat Pictures.

The resources awarded will allow us to shape our project with careful collaboration, bringing together the varied strengths and perspectives of each co-producer. For a film which charts three European stories of migration crossing paths in a rural Irish town, international co-development is not only valuable, but imperative, and we appreciate the recognition of this through Creative Europe’s support.
