Online Scriptwriting Workshop with Laurie Hutzler, 12th November

With the support of Coimisiún na Meán, Creative Europe Desk MEDIA Office Galway will organise an online Screenwriting Workshop with script consultant Laurie Hutzler on Wednesday 12th November.

Laurie has worked as a story and character consultant to the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, talkbackTHAMES, Mersey Television/Lime Pictures and Aardman Animation Studio (UK), for Pixar University, Disney and Dreamworks (US), Endemol Netherlands (NL), GloboMedia (Spain) and TNT (Russia) among others.

Laurie has created the Emotional Toolbox®, a unique method that offers a set of specific techniques, exercises and tools to create and strengthen emotion-based creative content including:

  • The six questions that create a Character Map
  • How to pull any protagonist out of a Second Act Slump
  • How to solve story structure problems through great character development
