Project Groundswell, supported by Creative Europe, is a major European visual arts initiative that asks a simple question: what does climate protection actually look like? Photo Museum Ireland, the lead partner in Project Groundswell, hosts the Irish premiere of Project Groundswell from 21 February to 12 April with an offical launch on Thursday 5 March, 2026.

The Project Groundswell exhibition features artists selected from an open call. Curated displays by 4 of the winning artists and a large-scale outdoor projection of works by 8 Showcase Award Winners.

As part of Project Groundswell, Photo Museum Ireland also supported the creation of four bespoke photobooks, working with the artists to refine design, editing, printing and international distribution in sustainable ways.
