MEDIA Offices Dublin and Galway are proud to support Run for the Border 2026!
Run for the Border, the cross-border meetup for the game community in Ireland, is back again this year. It takes place on Friday 26 June in Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, the geographical midpoint between Belfast, Dublin, Galway and Derry.
Last year, RFTB hosted over 200 attendees from all over Ireland. They bring in speakers from all over the island, a mix of North and South talent on a wide range of subjects.
Run For The Border features a collection of 10-minute lightning talks from the North and South. They would love to hear from a wide range of experience and backgrounds from startups to veterans, console to tabletop, indie to AAA, freelancers to CEOs, first timers to seasoned speakers, from all corners of Ireland.

Run for the Border Tickets & Coaches
- Tickets will be released at 3pm Friday 15 May on Run for Border website.
- Ticket Price: £14 / €16 includes coaches from Galway, Derry, Belfast, and Dublin.
- The event is the same price whether you take one of the free coaches or get there yourself.
- Book early as coach seats are limited!
