The musical artist Mairéad Duffy spent a week learning from and creating with Pam Hulme, a Berlin-based electro-acoustic compose. The award enabled her to explore new sound possibilities on Irish Harp and vocals.
Towards the end of the week, she performed as a guest artist in Dazwischen-In Search of the Something Inbetween, in Lazarus-Haus, Marchlewskistrasse, Friedrichshain.
‘The award enabled me to fully immerse myself in exploring new sound possibilities on Irish Harp and vocals. Towards the end of the week, I performed as a guest artist in Dazwischen-In Search of the Something Inbetween, in Lazarus-Haus, Marchlewskistrasse, Friedrichshain. This gave me my first performance platform to combine live looping and SFX. My time in Berlin has given me the confidence to continue stepping into this new sound world.
