Moving Matters - European performing arts development program in non-urban areas aims to reinforce the visibility and development of performing artists in non-urban European areas. The initiative will help six young artists to establish themselves in non-urban areas through strong international connections between dynamic artistic centres at the fringe of Europe.
This will be achieved through an integrated two-year long programme which will promote the young artists’ independence and empowerment.
Moving Matters is a two-year project co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Commission, Bodø2024 - European Capital of Culture 2024 - Vestvågøy Kommune & Norwegian Arts Council. The project is led by Eilertsen & Granados Teaterkompani together with partners from Serbia (Nyári Mozi Theater Community), Spain (Laboratorio de Artes Vivas y Ciudadanía – TenerifeLAV) and Ireland (The Non-prophet Organisation).
