The Unlock the Community project was launched by usheru in partnership with The Film Agency & LZRBRD. It aims to push innovation boundaries when it comes to audience development for audiovisual and cultural organisations.
The ultimate goal of the project is to showcase and provide a guide to true community-building in practice, using relevant Web3 experiences and other tools to attract audiences and turn community interest into content purchases. The project also aims to encourage digital marketing best practices within the European cultural and creative sectors, and to build a digital technology platform that can be adopted by any industry player to replicate the positive outcomes of these pilot projects.
The project will launch a decentralised B2B audiovisual community to enhance artistic and cultural best practice cooperation in Europe and enable the transfer of best practices between companies.
What are the objectives of Unlock the Community project?
- To build a scalable, cost-effective, and quick-to-deploy web platform for audiovisual and cultural partners with full self-management functionality and smart API integrations.
- To launch three pilot projects with audiovisual and live entertainment partners, through an open competition – this will showcase and provide a guide to true community-building in practice.
- To augment the community-building with relevant Web3 experiences which attract audiences to join the community.
- To turn community interest into (showtime and streaming service) content purchases. To encourage digital marketing best practices within the European cultural and creative sectors.
- To demonstrate that community-building initiatives pioneered in the games industry can be replicated in the audiovisual and events sectors.
- To launch a decentralised B2B audiovisual community to enhance artistic and cultural cooperation in Europe and enable the transfer of best practices between companies and organisations.
