Publishers' Talks Series at Dublin Art Book Fair 2025

Dublin Art Book Fair 4 - 14 December 2025 is a centre for contemporary artist books offering a wide selection of artist publications and titles from creative, small and independent publishers, both Irish or international, to browse or buy.

In conjunction with the Fair, DABF presents an event programme of book launches, publishers talks, and workshops offering ways to engage and gain insight into contemporary independent and arts publishing.

The DABF Publishers' Talk Series is supported by Creative Europe Desk Ireland. The Creative Europe programme supports a diverse literature and publishing sector across Europe, funding writers, translators, publishers, and the distributors of European works of literature via Circulation of European Literary Works funding call. Creative Europe also supports authors through the European Prize for Literature iniative.

DABF Publishers' Talks Series

• 6th December, 4pm to 5pm - Publishers' Talks: Fitzcarraldo Editions with Tamara Sampey-Jawad and Palestinian author Adania Shibli on their work for Fitzcarraldo Editions and the importance of literary translation as a contact zone for human complexity. This event will take place on the first floor accessible via lift and stairs. Seating will be theatre style. • 7th December, 2pm to 3pm - Publishers' Talks: Beyond Caring: Para-hosting and Curatorial Escape. PUBLICS Artistic Director Dr. Paul O’Neill and editor Dr. Gerrie van Noord discuss and read from their collaborative publishing practice. • 13 December, 4pm to 5pm - DABF25 Publishers' Talk: Exhibiting for Multiple Senses | Author and editor Eva Fotiadi and contributing author Renata Pękowska discuss multisensory encounters with art and the publication Exhibiting for Multiple Senses: Art and Curating for Sensory-Diverse Bodies, published by Valiz.
