Culture Ireland promotes Irish arts worldwide.

Culture Ireland operates a range of funding programmes to support and promote the presentation of Irish arts internationally.

In 2023, Culture Ireland funding schemes include:

  • Regular funding deadlines on 1st of April, July, September, December 2023
  • Showcases funding - Culture Ireland presents artform showcases at key international arts markets.
  • See Here funding - A special funding initiative to support inward travel by international programmers.

Erasmus+ is funding for projects and activities including international exchanges in the fields of education, training, youth and sport.

Horizon Europe is the EU Programme for Research and Innovation.

Horizon Europe (2021-2027) is the 9th European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. It's the biggest and most ambitious programme of its kind ever with a budget of over €95 billion.

Horizon Europe Ireland

European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) aims to strengthen economic, social and territorial cohesion in the European Union by correcting imbalances between its regions. In 2021-2027 it will enable investments in a smarter, greener, more connected and more social Europe that is closer to its citizens.

Access Europe is a support and capacity-building programme for Irish civil society organisations to better access EU funds and engage in EU policy. It is funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and delivered by The Wheel.

It supports the development of partnerships between Irish civil society organisations and European partners, as well as the creation of networks promoting participation in EU programmes and policy-making.
