Apply for EFP Producers on the Move by 25 February
Screen Ireland has opened a call for applications from producers who wish to be considered as the Irish selection for the 2026 European Film Promotion's Producers on the Move programme as part of Cannes Film Festival.
The Producers on the Move programme at the Cannes International Film Festival gives 20 promising emerging European producers from 20 European countries a platform and the opportunity to build and enlarge their international network.
Participants will meet potential co-production partners and sales companies in one-on-one meetings and take part in project pitching, case studies, social events and a comprehensive promotional campaign.
Producers on the Move 2026 will combine pre-festival online sessions with a four-half-day onsite programme in Cannes.
European Film Promotion and Producers on the Move are supported by Creative Europe MEDIA.
How to Apply as an Irish Producer
Screen Ireland is seeking applications from Irish producers with international experience who have a strong interest in working with partners in Europe.
- To apply, go to the Screen Ireland website and download the application form.
- Send the completed from with a letter of motivation, a description and a financing plan of the project or slate of projects to be pitched at the festival.
- In your email use the subject line "Producer on the Move 2026"

- Deadline to apply is Wednesday 25 February at 1pm.
