ARTEMIS Project Open Calls for Musicians & Singers in Mediterranean Hub 2026

Open call for Singer and Musician Residencies in Cyprus and Tunisia. Activities include musical training with musicians from Orchestre des Champs-Élysées, international conductors and singers, and experts on different relevant subjects.

Artemis is a Creative Europe funded project featurins ten European organisations in the music sector. It is dedicated to safeguard, transmit, and promote the practice of playing period instruments and to support young European and neighboring countries artists in the development of their European and international careers.

This project is looking for young and emerging professional musicians who are interested in:

  • Developing their knowledge and practice of period instruments and techniques. The practice of period instruments is not mandatory (unless for wind players).
  • Understanding their professional ecosystems (local and European) and develop their confidence in their career path.
  • Strengthening their skills in transversal subjects and gaining awareness to societal issues.
  • Meeting and learning from other professional musicians from all over Europe and neighboring countries.

  1. 2026 Hub Mediterranean: The Mediterranean in Opera
  2. 2027 Hub Baltic: 1827–2027: Ludwig van Beethoven 200th
  3. 2027 Hub Atlantic: A New World with Dvořák
  4. 2028 Hub Eastern: French Opera in the 19th

Activities include musical training with musicians from Orchestre des Champs-Élysées, international conductors and singers, and experts on different relevant subjects.

Hub Mediterranean: The Mediterranean in Opera Open Call

The open call for the activities in 2026 in the Mediterranean Hub is organised by the Orchestre des Champs-Élysées (Paris, France), the Tunis Higher Institute of Music (Tunis, Tunisia), and ARTE Music Academy (Nicosia, Cyprus). The artistic program is centered around The Mediterranean in Opera (Mozart, Haydn, Rossini).

Open Call for Residencies in Cyprus

A singers and pianists Residency from 23 to 28 June 2026 at the ARTE Music Academy (Nicosia, Cyprus) with Jérôme CORREAS and Anne BERTIN-HUGAULT.

Open Call for Residencies in Tunisia

An orchestral Academy for instrumentalists and singers from 19 to 25 October 2026 at the Tunis Higher Institute of Music (Tunis, Tunisia) with Alessandro MOCCIA and Sandrine PIAU. Instrumentalists participating in the Academy in October 2026 in Tunis may have the opportunity to participate in another ARTEMIS Academy.
