Cork International Film Festival 2025 Open for Submissions until 30th May

Submissions for the 70th Cork International Film Festival are open until 30th May.

CIFF welcomes submissions of features and shorts, and all forms of film production – fiction, documentary, animation, experimental and champion new voices and celebrate excellence in filmmaking.

In 2025, CIFF will present the prestigious Audentia Award in partnership with the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund which includes a prize of €30,000 for a female filmmaker to invest in their next film project.

Entries are invited for:

  • Feature films (documentary)⁣
  • Short films (International – Fiction)⁣
  • Short films (International – documentary)⁣
  • Short films (Irish – Fiction)⁣
  • Short films (Irish – documentary)
  • Short films (Cork – Fiction)⁣
  • Short films (Cork – documentary)⁣

The Festival requires Irish premieres for most of its strands, please contact info@corkfilmfest.org if your film receives another invitation for Irish or Cork city premiere and you need guidance to ensure that your film remains eligible for CIFF. If selected, applicants to the 2025 edition will be notified by September 2025.
