Creative Europe at Frankfurt Book Fair 2026

Creative Europe Culture will have a stand in Hall 3.1 - D53 which is directly opposite the Frankfurt Book Fair's 2026 guest of honour, Czechia.

The Creative Europe stand will serve as a hub for over 40 Creative Europe projects and other book sector professionals.

Attendees are welcome to visit the stand to meet the team and discover available funding opportunities as to come along to our events.

The programme includes discussions and presentations on literary translation, emerging writers, reading promotion and new ways to help readers discover books. Events will take place at the Creative Europe stand and elsewhere across the fair.

Wednesday 6 October

• 11am to 12pm | Find out more about the Creative Europe CULTURE funding strand (in German).
• 12.30pm to 1.15pm | Grants supporting the publication of books in translation: Czech Republic and Europe. Czech national stand, 3.1, C65. Presentation of 2027 Call 'Circulation of European Literary works' by Creative Europe representatives.
• 2 pm - 3 pm | CULTURE Info session (in English) Get to know the Creative
  Europe CULTURE strand: Ask us anything!
• 4.30 - 5.30 pm | Reception Meet and greet with representatives of Creative Europe and the European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL) over a drink.
