European Festival Funds for Emerging Artists - Irish results
Congratulations to the Irish artists and organisations supported in the latest European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists (EFFEA) which is a Creative Europe supported platform.
The European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists - EFFEA (2022 to 2025) is an initiative of the European Festivals Association network that offers emerging artists a platform to develop their career on an international level through festivals.
The Fund fosters European visibility of emerging artists. It addresses the needs of artists at different levels, the needs of festivals and audiences. EFFEA will establish a label that will serve as a referential instrument for artists and festivals when it comes to co-programming and presentation of emerging artists on festivals stages in Europe.
EFFEA’s first round of grants will support 142 festivals and 43 artists from 16 different disciplines. In the coming days they will publish a page with more information about each residency.
The full list of EFFEA funded artists and organisations can be found here.
EFFEA's Call number 2 will be launched in April 2023.
