Looking to continue your professional development in 2025? Here is a selection of European training programmes funded by MEDIA that have upcoming deadlines.

Search for training programmes on the Creative Europe MEDIA Training Guide website. The site provides information on training and mentoring courses which are currently receiving support from Creative Europe MEDIA. Search by level, country, sector and more.

In Ireland, you can apply for a Screen Ireland Training Bursary if you plan to participate in international or online international skills development programmes, workshops, and structured work programmes to assist your professional development.

Erich Pommer Institut | Series' Women | Audiovisual Women

EPI has launched calls for applications for their two female leadership programmes SERIES’ WOMEN and AUDIOVISUAL WOMEN. Both programmes aim to promote leadership and change management while working towards a more equal and fair audiovisual industry. While they share common goals, they differ in focus and target groups:

SERIES' WOMEN i
s for mid-career female producers of drama series and is all about visibility: Participants learn how to craft visibility for themselves and their projects through mentoring and pitch coaching and we also visit both TV Drama Vision at the Göteborg Film Festival and Series Mania Forum in Lille. Participants apply with a project currently in development. Application deadline is 16th September 2025.

AUDIOVISUAL WOMEN
targets females in executive positions in companies all along the value chain of audiovisual production. The participants learn how to manage change in their companies, position themselves as successful leaders and stay open to innovation. On top of that, they are matched with a business coach to tackle individual challenges. Application deadline is 16th September 2025.

Over the summer, EPI will host info sessions with former participants and experts for each programme.

EAVE Marketing Workshop

This is a comprehensive one-week workshop offering a 360° perspective on both traditional and innovative marketing techniques, with a strong focus on audience-centred strategies. In this rapidly evolving industry, the programme blends traditional marketing strategies with cutting-edge technology, equipping participants with practical tools to integrate into their film marketing campaigns. From engaging with the press to utilising the latest AI tools, the workshop offers a comprehensive guide to identifying and reaching audiences on a global scale.

The workshop is targeted at film producers and other industry professionals (sales agents, distributors, film festival representatives, trainers, consultants as well as funders) interested in deepening their marketing knowledge. Participants can either apply with or without a project – check the the application requirements.

ACE Series Special 2025

ACE Producers call for for ACE Series Special 7 is for experienced producers who want to deepen their knowledge of developing and producing TV drama series for an international audience and/or integrate a series division into their companies.

  • 3 - 8 November 2025 in Rome, Italy.
  • €2,500 / €2.250 for ACE Network Members. The fee covers full board, accommodation and training during the workshops. Travel costs are not included.
  • Deadline to apply: 3rd June 2025

Erich Pommer Institut | Digital Distribution

The Digital Distribution workshop is for film, TV, and documentary producers who want to make sense of a shifting landscape—and find new ways to get their work seen and monetised.

Through a mix of case studies, hands-on group work and expert-led discussions, participants will gain the tools to navigate the changing distribution landscape with confidence.
