Open House Dublin Festival of Architecture from 10 to 18 October is a celebration of that living exchange and relationship between people and place.

The festival will feature behind the scenes tours, workshops, a town hall discussion on the future of Dublin, and much more. All Open House events are free of charge.

Open House Dublin / The Irish Architecture Foundation is a partner in Open House Europe which is supported by Creative Europe. OHD also part of the Open House Worldwide international network of 50 organisations hosting festivals and conversations about architecture, design and cities across the globe from Lagos to Taipei, and New York to Santiago.

Open House Dublin 2026 is an Associated Presidency Event as part of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026.

Take tours in places like Temple Gallery & Studios, Iveagh Markets, and various artists' studios. Book one of the many walking tours that include Lost Prisons of Dublin. Try a workshop and toursuch as A Day in My Wheels Experience in IMMA. A combination of workshop and 'walking tour' this will be a unique opportunity to experience Spinal Injuries Ireland’s A Day in My Wheels session. It allows participants to use a wheelchair to experience accessibility of the built environment from the perspective of a wheelchair user.

Open House Dublin Booking Information

All Open House events are free of charge. The programme is a mixture of guided tours and events that need to be pre-booked on the Open House Dublin website.

PLEASE NOTE tickets must be booked online. Bookings should not be made through email or phone unless advised. Booking requests by email will not be processed unless previously agreed.

For tours with very limited places you may be asked to pay a ‘no show’ fee when booking.
