We are delighted to support Run for the Border 2025! This is an international meeting of the minds, where game developers from all over the North and South of Ireland descend upon an out-of-the-way, small-town pub somewhere on the border for an evening of cooperation, camaraderie, friendship, and a fair bit of craic.
Run for the Border Ticketing Choices
Tickets are £10 / €12 each, and they are the same price whether you are taking the coach or driving yourself. Coaches are provided by our transport sponsors: CEDI MEDIA Office (Dublin), Northern Ireland Screen (Belfast), Ardàn (Galway) and Hypixel (Derry). Seats are limited.
Please make sure you are on the correct Eventbrite page for your needs before you buy!
Submit a 10 minute talk idea!
A range of speakers from North and South on a range of subjects. To streamline things, these are Lightning Talks - 10 minutes maximum. This year there will be a projector available for slideshow presentations.
RFTB would love to hear ideas for short talks to be given on the night. Got something to share? Once you’ve bought your ticket, follow the link to submit a 10-minute talk idea. If your talk is selected, you will get a refund of your ticket.
Accessibility at RFTB
- What can you tell me about venue accessibility? The venue has its own car park; the coach will drop everyone off at the doors. No stairs to enter. The majority of the interior is flat. The venue is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of social/breakout areas. There are four toilets, all at ground level.
- Food: What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions? Food will be provided, through snacks and a meal. When booking your ticket you will be asked to fill in a dietary form and we'll aim to facilitate anything we're made aware of. You are also welcome to bring your own food or order something locally if this makes you feel more comfortable.
- What if I don’t drink alcohol? Though this All-Ireland event may be happening at an Irish Pub, there will be plenty of non-alcoholic drinks available at the venue.
