SLINGSHOT from DTF offers subsidised desk space and a residency

Dublin Theatre Festival announced the return of Slingshot, a space sharing initiative with two separate offerings in partnership with Creative Europe Desk Ireland.

Subsidised Desk Space

Dublin Theatre Festival space in Festival House offers subsidised desk space for up to five artists, producers, creators, writers, either individuals or groups, working in performing arts and related fields. The subsidised rate is €25 per desk per week. This scheme has previously helped build lasting relationships and networks for participants. The Desk Space includes the following benefits: heating, wifi, access to printer and scanner, access to kitchen, free tea and coffee supplies, with access to DTF staff for advice and other support as well as networking with other artists, producers, curators, researchers and writers. Residency

This Residency in Festival House is for theatre makers who are working on projects with an ambition for European co-production and touring. The space is available for between two and eight weeks in January to end of March. The studio is free of charge and structured mentoring will be available from the DTF team to support project development, along with some financial support for travel to facilitate career opportunities and professional networking.  The Residency also includes the following benefits: heating, wifi, access to printer and scanner, access to kitchen, free tea and coffee supplies.
