Crafting Europe (2019 - 2022) aims to address the systemic challenges for the European craft sector identified through surveys to assess the needs of the crafts sectors across 17 European countries. The project will allow partners to engage in research and build capacity within the sector to support its evolution, diversity and continued growth for the future.
Specific priorities include:
- Support transnational policy co-operation leading to policy development
- Foster capacity building through innovative approaches through the development of skills and business models for craft professionals and representative organisations in Europe
- Enabling people to gain new skills which will enrich their professional life and open new channels in the labour market.
