SO THIS IS CHRISTMAS is a creative documentary which interweaves five lives with a colourful tapestry of Christmas scenes. Beyond the façade of tinsel and celebration, the film explores the deeper complexities that emerge when expectations collide with reality. What transpires is an important social commentary, filled with humour yet tinged with tragedy that will leave audiences questioning the true meaning of Christmas.
Ken Wardrop’s latest documentary So This Is Christmas was released in Irish cinemas on 17th November 2023. The World Premiere of the film was on 10th November at the 68th Cork International Film Festival which is also supported by Creative Europe.
